How do I link, update, or unlink my mobile phone?

You can manage your mobile phone number on the Security settings page. You can link your mobile phone when creating your Okcoin account, or later. Once linked, you can update your mobile phone and mobile verification settings.

How do I link my mobile phone for the first time?

If you've created your Okcoin account with mobile phone number, it'll be linked automatically. If you've created it with your email address, here's how you can link your mobile phone:

1. Log in to your Okcoin account.
2. Go to the Security settings page. You can find it under your profile icon > Security settings.
3. Find Mobile verification under Pending security items and click Link.

4. Select your country or region code, such as +1 for the US.
5. Enter your mobile phone number without the country or region code.
6. Click Get code in the SMS code field. We'll send a 6-digit verification code to the number you've just entered. Enter this code.
7. Click Get code in the Email code field. We'll send a 6-digit verification code to your linked email. Enter this code.
8. If you've previously linked an authentication app, you'll also need to enter its code.
9. Click Confirm to finish linking.

Note - You'll need to enter both SMS and email codes (and authentication app code, if linked) to link your mobile phone.

How do I update my mobile phone number?

Here's how to do it:

1. Log in to your Okcoin account.
2. Go to the Security settings page. You can find it under your profile icon > Security settings.
3. Find Mobile verification under Pending security items and click Update mobile number.

4. Select your country or region code.
5. Enter your mobile phone number without the code.
6. Click Get code in the New SMS code field. We'll send a 6-digit verification code to the number you've just entered. Enter this code.
7. Click Get code in the SMS code field. We'll send a 6-digit verification code to the currently linked number (the one you want to change). Enter this code.
8. If you've previously linked an authentication app, open it and enter the code for your Okcoin account in the last field. Otherwise, click Get code, and we'll send it to your email.
9. Click Confirm to finish linking.

Note - You won't be able to withdraw any funds for 24 hours after updating your mobile phone.

How do I unlink my mobile phone number?

To unlink your mobile phone number, you'll need the help of our support team. Send us an email at support@okcoin.com, and we'll help you.

Alternatively, you can stop using your mobile phone for verification. Once you turn it off, we'll stop asking for SMS codes when you withdraw funds or change security settings.

Here's how to turn it off:

1. Log in to your Okcoin account.
2. Go to the Security settings page. You can find it under your profile icon > Security settings.
3. Find Mobile verification under Completed security items and click Turn off.
4. Click Get code in the SMS code field. We'll send a 6-digit verification code to the number you've just entered. Enter this code.
5. If you've previously linked an authentication app, open it and enter the code for your Okcoin account in the last field. Otherwise, click Get code, and we'll send it to your email.
6. Click Confirm to turn the mobile verification off.

Turning off mobile verification for your account

Your mobile phone will remain linked to your Okcoin account. You can click Turn on to start using it for mobile verification again, or click Update mobile number to link a new one (as explained above).
