How to Deposit Grin
1. Obtain Transaction File
Enter trading command on the full node wallet as below:
Grin wallet send-d “/dir/filename” - m file grins
"dir" stands for the file index; "filename" allows you to customize the file name; "grins" is the deposit amount
You will see the following message when the command is successfully complete:
"Command 'send' completed successfully"
Download the transaction file generated in step 1.1 from the Wallet to your computer. Select “GRIN” on the deposit page and upload the file under the “File Deposit” section.
2. Send Transaction File
2.1 When the transaction file is uploaded, we will send the confirmed file to you (e.g. xxx.response). Please check the status and download the confirmed file to your computer upon completion.
2.2 To ensure your deposit can be quickly processed, please finalize the command once you’ve received the confirmed file and broadcast the transaction:
- Upload the confirmed file to the Wallet. ** Do not edit the file** or transaction might fail, please also ensure that the file is uploaded to the same wallet where it was generated
- Finalize your command as below:
Grin Wallet finalize -d "/dir/filename"
"/dir" is the file location within the full node wallet, "filename" refers to the file name users will receive (if the file they receive is named "xxx.response", the file name will be "xxx.response")
When the command is completed, the following message will appear:
"Command 'finalize' completed successfully"
2.3 We will credit your assets within 60 minutes after the transaction file is uploaded.
