To properly upload your CSV to TaxBit’s platform, you will need to convert the transaction summary, provided in Tax Center, to the standard TaxBit CSV format. Learn more about the CSV format from Taxbit.
First, get your transaction summary from our Tax Center
- Login to your Okcoin account
- Go to top right Profile icon
- Select Tax Center
- Download the "Transaction summary" under the Tax Document section.
How to Upload Okcoin CSV to TaxBit
To properly upload your CSV to TaxBit’s platform, you will need to convert the provided transaction summary to the standard TaxBit CSV format. Learn more about the format.
Update your transaction summary

Open your transaction summary CSV shared

Add a column header for Column K (in K1) named ‘Updated Asset In (Quantity)’

In box K2, add the equation =IF(H2=D2,C2+G2,C2)

Copy box K2 and paste into all remaining rows in Column K where transaction info is available in the row (i.e. highlight and paste into K2 to K101 if you have 100 transactions)

Save file
Open a blank CSV file in a viewer to create your TaxBit import file
This transformation is easiest done by starting with a new blank CSV. Popular software to edit CSVs is Google Sheets, Microsoft Office Excel or Apple Numbers.
Fill in the headers in Row 1 (Column A through L)
- Column A: Date and Time
- Column B: Transaction Type
- Column C: Sent Quantity
- Column D: Sent Currency
- Column E: Sending Source
- Column F: Received Quantity
- Column G: Received Currency
- Column H: Receiving Destination
- Column I: Fee
- Column J: Fee Currency
- Column K: Exchange Transaction ID
- Column L: Blockchain Transaction Hash
Fill in Column A - Date and Time
Copy all contents (outside the header) from Column A of the Okcoin transaction summary (header ‘DateTime’) into your import file’s Column A
Fill in Column B - Transaction Type
- Copy all contents from Column B of the Okcoin provided transaction summary (header ‘Transaction Type’) into your import file’s Column B
- You’ll have to ensure the values in this column are one of the following:
- Buy
- Sale
- Trade
- Transfer In
- Transfer Out
- Income
Fill in Column C - Sent Quantity
Copy all contents (outside the header) from Column E of the Okcoin provided transaction summary (header ‘Asset Out (Quantity)’) into your import file’s Column C
Fill in Column D - Sent Currency
Copy all contents (outside the header) from Column F of the Okcoin provided transaction summary (header ‘Asset Out (Currency)’) into your import file’s Column D
Fill in Column E - Sending Source
Populate E2 with this formula: =IF(D2="","","OKCoin")
Copy box E2 and paste into all remaining rows in Column E where transaction info is available in the row
Fill in Column F - Received Quantity
Copy all contents (outside the header) from Column K of the Okcoin provided transaction summary (header ‘‘Updated Asset In (Quantity)’’) into your import file’s Column F
Fill in Column G - Received Currency
Copy all contents (outside the header) from Column D of the Okcoin provided transaction summary (header ‘Asset In (Currency)’) into your import file’s Column G
Fill in Column H - Receiving Destination
Populate H2 with this formula: =IF(G2="","","OKCoin")
Copy box H2 and paste into all remaining rows in Column E where transaction info is available in the row
Fill in Column I - Fee
Copy all contents (outside the header) from Column G of the Okcoin provided transaction summary (header ‘Transaction Fee (Quantity)’) into your import file’s Column I
Fill in Column J - Fee Currency
Copy all contents (outside the header) from Column H of the Okcoin provided transaction summary (header ‘Transaction Fee (Currency)’) into your import file’s Column J
Fill in Column K - Exchange Transaction ID
Fill in Column L - Blockchain Transaction Hash
Ensure that you save the file as a CSV (Comma delimited).csv file type.
Using other formats could produce a result that will not work properly on import into TaxBit.
